Terms of Use

These terms govern Puck Uncensored: the desktop app (Apple Silicon and Windows), the site, credits, the Core and Max models, and the public HTTP API. They are between you and PROISET SOLUTIONS S.R.L. (“we”, “us”). By installing the app, creating an account, buying credits, creating an API key, or calling the API, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use.

If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

The product

Puck Uncensored is a desktop crew (Coordinator and Coder today) and a public API that uses the same models and the same credit balance. In the app you pick a folder on your computer, give an order, and the team works in that folder. Chat and files stay on your machine. Each call is billed per token, at the rate shown in the app and on the site.

The model is uncensored: we do not add a refusal layer. That is the point of this build. It is not a promise that every order is wise, legal, or accurate. Puck is an AI system. Output can be wrong. It is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

Who may use it

You must be at least 18. You must use an Apple Silicon Mac or Windows 10/11 (x64) for the app. You must have the legal right to the folder you point the app at. One account is for one person. You keep the password and any API key to yourself.

Install, macOS, and Windows

The Mac build is a Developer ID–signed, Apple-notarized DMG. It is not distributed through the Mac App Store. Notarization is a malware check by Apple, not a review of what the app does. You run the binary at your own risk.

The Windows build is an NSIS installer for x64. It is not signed with an Authenticode certificate in this release. Windows SmartScreen may warn you. You run the binary at your own risk. We do not warrant that the app is free of defects, or that Apple, Microsoft, your employer, or a third party will accept it.

What the app can do on your computer

If you give the order, the Coder can write, patch, move, and delete files in the workspace; run commands in a jail on your machine; and drive a local browser. Those tools exist to do the work. They can also do damage if the order is bad. We are not in the room. You review the folder, the git state, and anything that leaves your machine. Anything that would send mail, post, pay, or publish waits for your yes in the product; file writes and jailed runs do not.

Public API

The same account can call POST https://askpuck.app/v1/chat/completions with a Bearer key (sk-puck-…) and the model puck-core or puck-max. Keys are shown once. A leaked key spends your credits. Rate limit: 10 requests per second per account. You are responsible for every call made with your key, including calls by software you write or by people you give the key to. If you put a chatbot in front of other people, you are the deployer of that system toward them.

Credits, payments, no refunds

• Credits are prepaid USD for per-token AI usage, bought via Stripe.
• Each call is billed at the rate of the model you picked. You stop paying when you stop the order, the session ends, or the balance hits zero.
• We do not refund purchases. Unused credits are not refunded. Token usage already billed is never refunded.
• Prices on the site and in the app can change. The rate in force when a call is made is the rate you pay for that call.
• Chargebacks on usage already consumed, or on credits you confirmed for immediate delivery, may close the account.

Withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK you have 14 days from a credit purchase to withdraw from a distance contract. Credits are a digital service. Buying them starts delivery at once: the balance is added to your account so you can spend it.

At checkout you must confirm that you want immediate delivery and that you lose that 14-day right once credits are added. After that confirmation we do not refund — not unused credits, not tokens already spent.

If that confirmation was not given, write to legal@askpuck.app within 14 days of the purchase. We refund only the unused part. Usage already billed is not refunded.

Nothing here takes away rights the law does not let us exclude, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services.

Your responsibility

This is the core term. Read it with Acceptable Use.

• You decide the order, the folder, the model, and the API call.
• You are solely responsible for the legality and consequences of your use, including content the model produces, files it writes, and commands it runs.
• Outputs can be wrong, biased, incomplete, or unsafe to follow.
• Uncensored means we do not lecture. It does not mean we authorise crime, and it does not shift your liability onto us.
• You will not claim that Puck, PROISET SOLUTIONS S.R.L., or the model “did it” in your place.

If you use this for work

If you are not a consumer, you indemnify and hold harmless PROISET SOLUTIONS S.R.L., its people, and its contractors from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your use, your orders, your content, your API clients, or your breach of these terms. This indemnity does not apply if you are a consumer.

No warranty

The app, site, API, and credits are provided as is and as available, except where a mandatory consumer rule says otherwise. We do not warrant uptime, correctness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may pause the API and billing, change the model, or take the service down. If we change these terms we will update this page and the date. A material change takes effect 15 days after we post it, unless the law requires sooner. The rate of a call already made does not change. If you do not accept a change, stop using the product. Unused credits are not refunded.

Limitation of liability

If you are a consumer, we do not exclude or limit liability that Italian or EU law does not allow to be excluded — including fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, and the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services.

If you are not a consumer, then to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we were told they might happen. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the greater of (a) USD 50 and (b) the credits you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence.

Accounts, suspension, closure

We may suspend or close an account for unpaid chargebacks, prohibited use, abuse of the API, attack on our infrastructure, or if required by law on the account and billing data we actually hold. We do not monitor your local workspace. Closing the account does not delete files on your computer.

Intellectual property

The app, site, name, and mark are ours. Subject to these terms, you may use the app and the API for your own work. You keep rights you already have in your folder. Model output may not be protectable; we claim no ownership of it. You are responsible for whether you have the right to use it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Italy have jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer rule gives you the courts of your place of residence.

If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
